Raj Chauhan
A former programming language teacher and a software developer, Raj Chauhan followed his inclination toward stage and performing arts by studying Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy and Acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute. He then featured in a couple of Off-Broadway plays in the US and went on to adapt and direct Howard Korder’s play Boys’ Life in an Indian setting.
After working predominantly in theatre for over six years and featuring in an award-winning short film at Cannes, Raj found his calling in a combination of the two things he enjoys the most – teaching and acting. Raj has assisted Atul Mongia in his film and public workshops for over two and a half years, and is currently facilitating our open public workshops, Collective Scenework, and film workshops.
